Newcomb, Robert Alfred
Clerk who enlisted in the NSW Reinforcement 25 of the Australian Imperial Force in July 1918 after having previously been rejected as unfit for service; his chest measurements did not meet the standard. He embarked on 7 November 1918, just four days before Armistice Day. The troopship was recalled and he disembarked in November 1918.
