Lambert, John Thomas
Police Motor Driver who enlisted as a cleaner in the 8th Australian Army Service Corps and was sent to Alexandria, Egypt in December 1915, serving as a despatch rider. He proceeded France and was promoted to lance corporal in September 1916 and then to temporary corporal in February 1917. He was admitted to hospital in England for 'deformity right foot' in September 1918.
