Dolan, Sydney Robert

Bank messenger who enlisted as a private in the 7th Field Ambulance and disembarked at Plymouth, England in November 1916 before being sent to Etaples, France. He was admitted to hospital in April 1917 for 'defective vision'. He was reprimanded for absence without leave in August 1917 and February 1918. In February 1919, he was reprimanded for disobedience while on active service, forfeiting 29 days' pay and receiving 28 days labouring duties.
